We cordially invite you to a guest talk by Associate Professor Daniel Brumberg of Georgetown University organized by the Jan Masaryk Centre for International Studies, in cooperation with the Department of International and Diplomatic Studies and Center for Asian Studies (CAS), at the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business.
The event will take place on Friday, November 28th (10:00-11:30), at the Faculty of International Relations, room No. 255 NB.
Daniel Brumberg is the Co-Founder and former Director of Democracy and Governance MA Program at Georgetown University and a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Arab Center. From 2008 through 2015, he also served as a Senior Scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and as a Special Adviser at the United States Institute of Peace. He has published articles on political, social and economic change in the Middle East and wider Muslim World and on US democracy promotion.
