We are pleased to invite you to the Central and Eastern Europe in the Changing Business Environment conference that will take place at VŠE on May 22-23, 2025. Registrations are open until January 19, 2025.

The conference is jointly organized by the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business, and the Faculty of Commerce, the University of Economics in Bratislava. The main focus of the conference is the region of Central and Eastern Europe and its position in the global economy.

The conference topics include, but are not limited to:

Global Trade, International Marketing and Cosumer Bahavior,

Global Value Chains and CEE Region,

International Finance,

Corporate Social Responsibility in International Business,

Sustainable Economic Development from Global Perspective,

Changes in International Marketing, Management, and Business Strategies,

Challenges in International Tourism.

Abstracts in English are to be submitted electronically on the registration page by January 19, 2025, and their length is limited to 1000 symbols.

Full papers in English (after the approval of the submitted abstract) are to be submitted by February 21, 2025. The length of each paper should not exceed 15 pages, including the list of references. The review process of each paper is double-blind, based on two reviews.

Participants from the organizing faculty are eligible for free admission and don´t pay the conference fee.

Conference proceedings will be sent for evaluation to the Web of Science (CPCI database). The authors can decide whether to publish the full paper in conference proceedings or an abstract in the book of abstracts. Papers published as abstracts can be sent for publication in scientific journals. The organizers’ reviewed journals are CEBR, Economic Review, and Studia commercialia Bratislavensia.
