Chinese Beliefs and Business by Dr. Qi Hudečková

Based on her 20 years of study and practitioner experience, the topic of this interactive lecture will be Chinese prognostication based on Yin-yang and the theory of the five elements: the I Ching 易经 (hexagrams), Bazi 八字 (Eight Characters), and Feng Shui 风水.

Dr. Qi Hudečková, also known as 李奇玉博士, was awarded a degree in History and Philosophy of Science and spent part of her studies as a visiting scholar to the Needham Research Institute in Cambridge (2010-2011). Since 2013 she has been cooperating with the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business within the courses 2SE533 The Chinese Economy , 2OP531 Trade and Business in China, 2OP308 Dealing with Chinese Business Counterparts, 2IB501 Dealing with Asian Business Partners and 2IB101 International Business Negotiation and Protocol. She is a researcher and practitioner in the field of Chinese prognostication, focusing on the use of traditional tool models to simplify and imitate the fate of mankind, trends of events and the human-environment relationships, and traditional agriculture.
