The use of soft computing, which also includes artificial intelligence (AI), is playing an increasingly important role in the field of business and management. The greatest development is using neural networks, not just as part of the now-popular chatbots. There are many complex decisions in which it is appropriate to use trained neural networks on already implemented problems. The use is almost endless. An important role is optimising processes that lead to cost reduction and profit increase in decision-making. Here, using various evolutionary algorithms is advantageous, among which genetic algorithms stand out. Fuzzy logic allows working with fuzzy and vague concepts. When making decisions, it is necessary to know many inputs that are difficult to measure in management and economics. The applications of the above methods include, for example, cluster analysis, prediction - exchange rates, loan maturity, diseases, time series, risks, bankruptcy; optimization - business travellers, creation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles; credit rating, cyber risk management, insurance, etc.
