Iryna Lagodna is an economist specializing in international trade and development policies. Currently she works as a Private Sector Development Analyst at the World Bank in Washington, DC, where she analyses business regulations impacting cross-border trade. Her professional interests are SME development, trade facilitation, development cooperation, and sustainable economic growth. Prior to her position at the World Bank, she was interning at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva and at the European Business Angels Network, a Brussels-based trade association for early stage investors. Iryna holds a Master’s degree from the College of Europe in Belgium and from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine. She speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian and French.
