Dmitry Strovsky, M.A., Ph.D., professor of  Media History, a lecturer at the Journalism Faculty of the Ural Federal University (Ekaterinburg, Russia) and researcher at Ariel University (Israel). Professor Strovsky is a prolific author of a few books and numerous articles published in Russian and English on various issues concerning the historical and contemporary evolution of Russian mass communications and especially journalism. He participated with his papers on the above matters in many international conferences. Strovsky has also received numerous fellowships including Fulbright scholarship (2005) and has taught at universities in the United States, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, China, Israel, and some other countries.
