Leveraging science with AI tools

On Thursday, October 31 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM), there will be an online Crowdhelix event, delivered by Professor Daniel Mertens (in English). This training event will describe how AI-based tools can help researchers to work more efficiently and effectively.

The training event will specifically focus on how researchers can employ AI to brainstorm, become more objective when assessing literature, and amplify outreach activities and social media reach.

This event will discuss and use the following tools to help researchers work with AI tools:

• extracting key claims, summarising, brainstorming ideas and finding sources,
• (https://www.perplexity.ai/),
• enhanced literature review, connectivity of papers, interactive summaries of key information
• texting for optimising text, generating scientific text de novo, e.g. paragraphs, titles, whole cover letters, generating text for social media, e.g. tweets, LinkedIn posts etc.
• brainstorming
• Support of AI assistants for difficult discussions, conflicts and negotiations.
• Getting an outside perspective on your career and on tricky decisions. 

• teaser: programming, from zero to implementation.
