End: Friday 4. October 2024
Contact person: Žaneta Stradiotova

This year, you can submit your research projects and papers to the 13th Biennial Conference of the Czech Economic Society. What will you gain? Valuable feedback and insights from experienced research colleagues, as well as the opportunity to publicly present your work.

What is the Czech Economic Society?

The Czech Economic Society (ČSE) is an association of people working in or interested in the field of economics. Its main mission is to support the development and general awareness of economics in the Czech Republic. The CSE also supports the plurality of opinions and the autonomous evolution of individual schools of economic thought.

As part of the biennial conference, there is a call for research papers and projects for feedback. Submissions are welcome from all areas of economics and finance, including complete scientific papers as well as individual chapters focused on specific topics. This call is open to researchers of all levels, from PhD candidates to experienced researchers.

How to Submit Your Research Project?

Submit your work in English in PDF format to the email address conference@cse.cz by October 4, 2024. As the Prague University of Economics and Business is the main partner of the conference, students and staff from our institution are not required to pay any registration fees.

The Czech Economic Society is open to all topics. The content of the submitted research papers will shape the program of this two-day conference, which will be held again this year at VŠE at the end of November. (More information will be provided in a separate article soon.)

What Happens After Submissions?

You will be notified of the acceptance (or rejection) of your research paper for the conference program by mid-October. Selected researchers may also be asked to serve as discussants during the conference program.

Why Should You Participate?

The ČSE conference provides a networking opportunity. Students presenting their research papers at the conference will also receive free conference admission and a complimentary two-year membership in the organization.
